Markham, Ontario – ATI Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ATYT; TSX: ATY) today announced that Acer Incorporated, one of the world’s top ten branded PC vendors, is incorporating ATI’s award-winning graphics into seven new consumer desktop PC models. ATI’s Radeon® 9700 PRO visual processing unit (GPU), Radeon® 9000 and Radeon® 7500 will power high-end and mainstream PCs.

Additional features include Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 support and eight parallel rendering pipelines which deliver ground-breaking cinematic-quality visuals. The Radeon 9000 features best-of-class 3D gaming with its quad-pipe architecture and Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1 support. The Radeon 7500 is an excellent mainstream graphics board that provides a number of entertainment benefits, including DVD acceleration for high quality playback, DVI flat panel support and industry-leading TV-out display.
